There are transformative changes occurring in healthcare. Cost and quality concerns along with changing social and disease-type demographics created the greatest urgency for the need for change. In the previous, health care organizations were more focused on disease and treatment-oriented which resulted in high cost health care and complicated disease conditions. For example, health care focused on the treatment of stroke which took a long time to treat stroke with complications and disability. These days, health care system is more focused in primary health care and preventive and promotive care. Preventive and wellness program such as annual health assessment, weight loss program, tobacco cessation program, vaccine protocol helps the public from disease prevention and improve wellness status.
