You need to prepare and submit a DRAFT of your international marketing plan (IMP) which is a plan to enter a foreign market abroad. You can find detailed instructions for this assignment in Appendix 2 of the course syllabus. This draft is due on or before Sunday, November 12, 2017 @ Noon and is worth 10 points out of 100. (The other 90 points will be assigned to your final document which is due on Week 14 as the Course Project).
The objective of the submission of your draft is for you to have a feedback on your work and therefore to be able to make timely adjustments. Some suggestions follow.
1. You can use Week 9 assignment (“Starting and Import/Export Business”) as a basis. You could expand it to complete your International Marketing Plan. You could also select the company you have used for your Strategic Marketing course project. Another ideas would be to select the company you are developing as your Integrative Project and expand it. Or you could just select any company that has domestic operations ONLY and expand its product/service to an international market of your choosing.
2. For this week’s draft, you should at least complete all information coming from secondary sources. I would suggest you to develop up to the Situation Analysis and most of the new market cultural, economics, political, and competition information.
3. Follow the instructions and structure provided in Appendix 2 of the course syllabus.
4. I would expect a document no less than 12 pages (including cover, references, tables, and graphs).
